My brother Sean took his life at the age of 39, leaving behind his extended family which included five siblings. This is a book written specifically to help suicide survivors, as there are many of us out there. In particular, if you are a sibling survivor, my heart goes out to you. I know exactly what you are going through.

Remembering Sean edition by Ann Kuehnel Health Fitness Dieting eBooks Reviews
I just finished Remembering Sean. Ms Kuehnel tells a very difficult story of a family's painful experience with tender words and care. I have lost a sibling but not to suicide. Even so I can relate to AK's need for healing. I applaude her bravery in telling this story which so often is off limits. Her words will be good medicine for anyone who has joined the lost sibling club, no matter how the loss occurs, as it relates that deep love so well. Should I ever meet her in person I would give her a big hug to say thanks for the healing.
I hope others who have lost a sibling to suicide find this book and read it. It's a courageous story of the authors experience in learning of and coming to grips with her brothers suicide. I can't imagine it was easy to write but, I am sure it will help others who are living through this most difficult time. Thank you for sharing your story.
What an awesome book! I could NOT put it down once I got started. Ann, you are such a strong woman and I am so proud of you for what you have been through. It really took courage to write this book. Thank you for your honesty...amazing. I am sure you helped many people by writing such a riveting, true story. Thx "Sis"! Love ya!
The point of view offered by this sister of the main character, Sean, is interesting. She may have wanted to consider including more happy times and good memories.
I am not a sibling survivor but a parent survivor of suicide. AK wrote a memoir that told me so much I couldn't remember about her Brother's death. At the time I was so devastated I have no memories. However, I do remember there were no reasons or persons blamed for Sean's choice to end his life. God only knows when or why we no longer live. What I feel and believe is within me. I often share conversations with other people who have lost a child. We all share the same loss and grief no matter how the child died. I learned from an early age that suicide is not an option. Help is available. My only regret is that I didn't try harder. I choose life. Life is good. John's Mom
This is an inspiring book written with the love and honesty and devotion between a sister and a brother...Thank you Ann for writing this book - it will help many suicide survivers know that they are not alone in how they are feeling and how long the journey to acceptance can be....Thank you for sharing that answers may never come and that the pain and hole left will never be completely healed...Thank you for sharing that in time you can and do begin to live again and move forward....Your words gave honor to your brother's life and what he meant to you...I'm passing your book onto our grief recovery ministry as a recommendation for those who come seeking comfort and help in their season of loss...
I got this book free the other day and instantly started reading it as Ive been through two suicides in my family with my step-dad and my grandpa so I can relate to the author. Rip Sean and may the family always love him and remember him.
A good, short insight from a sister's point of view. A world in which no one of ourselves would want to be in.
